The seed of the idea for Cresceré Rose♡ was planted in the summer of 2014, when the founder visited Kenya in East Africa to try to help at Shah Free Eye & ENT camp. The kind camp provided free eye tests & treatments to locals in the village who couldn’t afford healthcare independently. Witnessing the severity of the conditions they lived in & put up with on a daily basis, forever changed the way in which she viewed the world..
This was her first real exposure to poverty first hand. The raw, unfiltered introduction Poverty made, ingrained a painfully deep, lasting impression on her. This trip awoke a reality check within her which no lullaby could comfort back to sleep. Although she sympathized for every soul she met there, it was the children in particular with no safe place to call home, whom’s faces began to shadow over her every thought before captivating them completely. She simply couldn't disregard the distress she had seen or force her eyes to un-see what they'd witnessed, & just like that; a seed was planted & from it, a dream blossomed.
So, soon after her return from Kenya, she began to venture around, baby-steps at first then eventually she was fortunate enough to be granted the opportunity of exploring many countries around the globe. Volunteering in every shelter & orphanage she found along the way, she aimed to figure out; what works well, what could be improved, what does the world need most & how can we best try to help. The information & experience she gathered whilst away trying to answer these fundamental questions, lie in the heart of the core foundation of which the 3 primary missions of Cresceré Rose♥ have been based on.
