WE’RE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE WE’LL BE TEAMING UP WITH CICLUCA, TO SUPPORT THE EXPANSION OF THEIR SCHOOL FOR ECOLOGY IN RIO BRANCO, ACRE!
(Acronym roughly translates Centre for the Illumination of Christs Astral Light) & is a service-based organisation dedicated to the preservation of Brazilian ancestral practices passed down through the indigenous Arroxin (Hummingbird) lineage.
EDUCATION & ACTION are the two fundamental subjects at the heart of CICLUCA’s mission to preserve, protect & re-populate deforested areas in the Amazon Rainforest & the tasks at hand are two-fold...
FIRST & FOREMOST.. THE CENTRE NEEDS WORK!
Until now Charles (the founder of CICLUCA & “Forests of the Future”- the school active in Rio Branco), has taken groups out into the 100-acre section of jungle that CICLUCA currently works & protects, to share his teachings & encourage connection with the Earth.
Now his project is growing & he needs to be able to better utilise his centre space.
He plans to open the centre as a school for both adults & children but currently the place is unsuitable for children as the floor’s unsafe & it lacks toilet facilities.
Charles said he’s always intended to turn his centre into a school to educate the local people in Acre, especially the children because,
he says, “everyone in Acre talks about deforestation, it happens around us all the time & the problems is, either people do not understand the severity of it, or they do, but they don’t know what to do about it”.
So far, he’s already managed to lay some foundations & put up a simple structure but as you can imagine, the effects of the past year have caused some problems, specifically because CICLUCA relied on tourism to generate funds.
SECONDLY.. THE JUNGLE-BASED CENTRE IS ALSO A HOME FOR HIS CHARITY GROUP ASWELL AS A SPACE USED FOR HEALING & SPIRITUALITY...
CURRENTLY, THEY WORK TOWARDS SAVING, CULTIVATING & RE-POPULATING ENDANGERED SPECIES OF PLANTS & CARRY OUT ACTS OF CHARITY & HOST THEIR SACRED CEREMONIES. THIS IS ALL DONE IN RESPECT TO THE TEACHINGS PASSED DOWN BY ANCIENT BRAZILIAN ANCESTRY FROM THE INDIGENOUS ARROXIN LINEAGE INCLUSIVE OF PRACTISES WITH MEDICINAL PLANTS SUCH AS AYAHUASCA.
CICLUCA have big plans for Forests of the Future, to eventually buy more areas of de-forested land in order to re-forest so that, in the words of Charles;
“the future generations don’t have to suffer because of our negligence”.
“THE FUTURE GENERATIONS DON’T HAVE TO SUFFER BECAUSE OF OUR NEGLIGENCE”.
Not only will the centre play a vital role in further educating people & combating climate change issues, it will also provide both job prospects & opportunities for local people to go out to work, (by way of childcare which is a current problem for the people of Rio Branco).
We at Crescere Rose, are completely behind this project because we are fully aware of the importance of the Amazon to our WHOLE PLANET & the vital role it’s biodiversity plays in balancing & maintaining an environment necessary for human survival, long term. We are at a point in history where we MUST start looking into the future & thinking of our generations to come.
Thinking about the next seven generations is a duty in Arroxin teachings & we are taking the thread & pledging allegiance to our rainforest & to the future children too!
Our first aim is to help raise money to contribute towards both the floor & the toilets so Charles & his team can reach as many people as possible to share this very important message & mission & have as powerful an impact as possible!
